Our intention is to add, not subtract, but add by doing not where it has always been done.
Globalization has allowed us to learn about other ways of doing things, not framed in fashions, nor aimed at media processes and always of dubious transparency. At least from an ethical point of view.
Today’s society has been betting, without really knowing why, on the creation of golden calves on a clay mold. The metal layer is as thin as gold leaf, so the whole thing, although it is very apparent, does not resist the challenge. It is curious, when reviewing recent history, which is the best documented and not exposed to creative theories, but always extravagant and far from reality, to see how when a person who stands out in a certain area of culture, science or any other branch of knowledge, normally entails certain deficiencies in other important fields. Society usually covers them up, perhaps because of its desire to create idols, although with the same speed with which it creates them it makes them disappear, it engulfs them without any consideration, as long as both one and the other sell. Hence the intention to look the other way, or look, if applicable, next to always, but in a different way.
The only intention of t18 is to make known other ways of doing and thinking, different, interesting, authentic, fleeing from the media, the temporary or simple fashion, seeking serious reflection on what is exposed. Therefore, in t18 there is room for both successes and failures, large and small works, the natural landscape, the projected or created and the design in its broadest meaning. Also, the conversation with little-known characters, those who have not played the media card. People who know that coins have two sides, and that it is always better not to enter barter if one is not willing to sell, either for 3, 300 or 3 million coins.
t18 was not born with the desire to be a mixed bag, but to be that box where fashion and superficiality have no place. The media is very bulky, but it feeds little. t18 has a downloadable and completely free PDF format. Ready?
